Brunt Marin Unboxing And 3 Week Review
Nice video. I have the one you had to beef up. I bought and had a buddy cut some 3/4 concrete panels that they use for underpinning on mobile homes. Use my tractor mower rather than zero turn so I don’t tear up hydros. Hardest part I had was keeping the concert panels on with bungee cords. Buddy tried to get me to go in half with a powered aerator he rent . I was amazed how many plugs it pulls up. Your welded straps are a great fix. Never thought about doing other people’s yards for cash. But sure could.
Nice what’s your water pressure
I don't know, it's just off the city water supply.
Not sure if I should get this or the smaller version. I have commercial mowers.
I would not go smaller if you run commercial mowers.
@@HandyGuy2016 yeah I just see that it does good and is half the price.
I’m trying to get this setup for my z3x but JRCO is acting like they have never heard of z3x let alone make the mount for it. So frustrating
I took the JRCO mount for the Ferris ISX 3300 and just shortened it to fit. Trimmed about 2" off each end.
@@HandyGuy2016 lol thank you, I thought I was losing my mind
That’s awesome. I have both of those units and wanted to do the exact same thing. Glad to see it’s possible.
That clover is tough!
Did you get rid of the chapin 12 gal push sprayer as well. I was thinking of getting one. I could do my whole lawn on 1 tank instead of 3 and my back/hamstrings lol Did you like it?
I did but it worked great, never had any issues with it.
@@HandyGuy2016 Thanks for speedy reply, looks like my easiest way, I can replace battery/parts/pump later if needed
BRAVOOOO!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I am headed to ACE to buy an overpriced Faucet Repair Kit (or 2) and probably a pair of channel locks since I can’t find any of the 1/2 dozen that we have already and give this a go! Oh God, I’m nervous! Thank you SO much for this awesome DIY tutorial!
My faucet is the kind that has the water spout and the handles together in the same Mount. They're all one piece. I unscrewed the handles and when I pull forward it does not come out. I can't seem to find a video on that particular kind. How do I do it? How do I get it off? Mine has a hot water leak.
Amen, brother. My husband has talents in other areas than repairman, so it falls on me to make all repairs or call in a professional. I have to learn everything. I appreciate videos like this to guide me through repairs. They have saved us thousands of dollars over our 50-year marriage.
thx!
Can you do an update video on how the paint job is holding up?
I will try to but it looks as good as the day it was first done.
@@HandyGuy2016 That's all I really wanted to know. I think I'm going to go the same route you did. Seems like the best way to go. Thanks for the reply.
The red vinyl stripe where you sit or stand on that mower is called piping
Can anybody tell me the names of the parts to buy from the store
Thanks for the post really considering this mower looking at the Farris stand on 36 or This mower. As a home owner looks like a pretty awesome mower thank you for the video
Where did you get that jack extension foot? What kind is it? I must do this on my cargo trailer conversion. This old man can't handle cranking anymore and I don't have room for an electric jack. Great video.
It's called "Jackfoot" on Amazon.
Looks solid and pretty
Thank you
nice. ive been looking for a new backyard mower. shame it doesnt have electric start but its a honda. look like decent suction on the deck. im curious, any particular reason you move the throttle back to open after you shut off?
Starting habit. Always reset controls and switches to be ready to start next time.
If you can weld why didn't you weld it instead of self tappers?
Easier to modify or disassemble in the future.
Excelente video felicitaciones, a la espera de ver el arco completamente configurado y nos enseñes que tal agrupaciones hace en el bull
Can you do a 2024 setup
For mowing or leaf removal? It's probably going to be the same as last year.
@@HandyGuy2016 both
Perfect video! Im making this. Thank you for the tips!
Thank You! Great ideas and use of reclaimed siding. How did you seal the old nail holes?
Silicone caulk
@@HandyGuy2016 Thanks
Bro, how bout a video on how to replace that ribbed belt right above the deck.
That’s gonna rattle around especially on bumpy terrain and drive you nuts. And… run into trees and bushes you’re trying to cut around.
Thank you for caring for these sweet creatures. I’ve raised many babies over the years an they are so sweet. Have made a few squrl boxes. Again thanks from Houston
How do you remove the rear wheels?
Matter of fact gal.........you are GOOD!!!
Thank you Sir !
What mower shop you use, that's a good price
I ordered them through a Michelin Tire Dealer in town. The part # is MISC TWEELS 54411 24 12 12
Any issues with water years later? Any water coming down the wall get in at the top? Working on this for my neighbors and that's the main point of intrusion. Thanks!
Could u tell me the size of the angle aluminum please
2"x 2" x 48"
I know this is an old post but that machine needs to be up on top of the bench to properly sharpen blades, i could see the way your hands were holding the blade that you were in an uncomfortable position.
Yep, it's bench top now lol.
shoulda got more 👍👍👍👍👍
Superb review. Now I’m buying one.
u were only cutting like a half inch of grass
Finally got me a dang z3x, thanks to your old videos making me druel. And recently gots my new logo, ANDDDD, just went out and grabbed a fw15 also , except I’m running my baby accelarator on it now….sadly
Congratulations! What do you think of the Z3X and FW15? What size is your Z3X?
@@HandyGuy2016 52” z3 and I love em both, it all started with me getting a z1 36” gate stander, that thing was wicked, so I ended up selling my exmark sit down to a buddy and went and grabbed my z3x 52” last fall. Just now getting to stretch it’s legs and pretty impressive
Very good explanation with good camera work. I would just recommend soaking the parts in a solution of white vinegar and baking soda. It works wonders for descaling.
Great tip!
So how do you change them lol
Can it be used competitive target indoors outdoor and 3d?
Yes, with stiffer spine arrows it is a great shooter. The arrows that came with it are not great past 45#
Great job. I need to make one for my Scsg.
How do you get the old seat and spring out? Just pull them out with pliers?
What is the width of that trailer?
7' x 16'
does jd make sulkys for their walk behinds?
I don't believe so.
@@HandyGuy2016 I actually just called my local trigreen dealer yesterday and found out they do make a two wheel one
@scandinavianprincefourteen88 good to know.
It's been a few yrs have replaced the hydros yet ?..... or they still strong
Still strong at 1000 plus hours.
What kind of bush is that and how long before it looks good again? Thanks for the video
It's a very common shrub here, that grows extremely fast. We have to cut them back like this twice a year.
Hi Bud, hope all’s well for you and your family. I have a 2019 Ferris Z3x 52 “, oil guard 37 hp vanguard. I am wondering why your mowers are breaking down, these are built to industrial standards. Do you use “X” blades, or extra high lift blades? Do you think that could cause vibrations or undue stress on the spindles? Very odd your spindle bearings crapped out. I know you are very good with maintenance, it 15:30 doesn’t make sense. Could belts be too tight or perhaps pillows not lined up? I heard don’t turn on or off the blades unless you have low idle rpm. Sorry for long post, I have much respect for your methods. Thank you. Jim
There are so many variables when it comes to why and when things break. We have extreme weather conditions here, very rough rocky dusty terrain and I run these machines pretty hard sometimes in those conditions. All machines are built by human hands and can have issues just because one of those hands didn't do everything right one day. At the end of the day, I expect things to break down or wear out within reason and I feel overall, that these machines are the best for me and my business. I think most of the issues I have had and things that have failed are within reason all things considered.
The springs need to be on the outside of the trailer. I mounted them on my trailer . Worked way better!
Good idea, my taillights were in the way.
Can you do a video of greasing all the fittings on your ferris z3x please? I have a 52” z3x and want to make sure I’m getting each fitting. Also how often do your grease. Thanks!
I grease the spindles each month and all the pivot points 2 times a year.
